it's a sad day....
Due to some financial issues, I need to sell my 450. It's so close to being finished and I really don't want to let it go. I'm willing to part it out or sell it whole. Here's a run down of the specs:

-new VM32 Mikuni Carbs (need to be tuned)
-Dyna S Ignition
-new valves
-1mm overbore and polish
-good wiring
-new rear shocks
-1/4 Throttle
-new clutch
-new chain and sprockets
-drag bars and new grips
-stock scrambler pipes
-clear Michigan title

The whole engine has been rebuilt and checked by B&C Machine Shop. I have all the reciepts and records for the bike. Plus tons of extra parts (spare cylinders, head and tons of misc bits).

It ran with the stock carbs but they leaked like crazy. Which is why I bought the Mikuni's. It needs tires/tubes and paint (it's rattle canned right now). It's a great start for a vintage class race bike or a unique cafe racer.

$700 obo

The bike is located in Indianapolis, IN at my shop. I have the title in hand and it's ready for a buyer. I have tons of pics and I can get specific pics if you want.

hey, guys.

i'm looking around for a starter bike-- my real love is 1970s hondas, which are proving hard to find in a first bike price range.  i've been looking for a cb350, but today i ran into and old sport 90, ~1969.  it needs a bunch of work, but i think the cost of the bike + the work is still in a reasonable range.  i'm worried, though, about it being such a small bike.  i don't want something that drives like moped, but i'm also not likely to have it out on the interstate.

any of you have one of these bikes, or experience with them?  what kind of power do they have, and what's a reasonable top speed?

So what's been happening?
What's everyone been doing then? I've been flying around on a '95 Triumph Speed triple and finally got a Transalp 650 engine in my Bros 400. Also picked up a Puch Maxi, which after 20yrs in a shed, just need fresh fuel then ran perfect!! Also got a 1976 CG125 with a knackered lump. Now fitted a newer engine and converted it from 12v to 6v!! Just to be different!!

Nik Samson from BSH, Streetfighters and 100% Biker magazines
Nik had a bad smash on Saturday, Blue posted this on the 100% Biker forum:

Nik had a bad accident on Saturday - apparently he was overtaking a car which decided to veer into the middle of the road. Nik tried to avoid it, locked up and went into a tankslapper that sent him into an oncoming car. The bike went up in a fireball, 'fortunately' Nik was thrown clear. He was very lucky (and the Air Ambulance was close by) but he sustained a very deep gash to the back of his head, broken collarbone, broken ribs, bruised lungs, chipped vertabrae and a lot of cuts.

Hope you get better mate.

Introduing my first bike.
I finally got around to snapping some photos of my ole bike and I thought I would share.

I got my hands on this 1974 Honda CB360T sometime last year. The bike was bought from a friend of the family and he wasn't riding it so I made an offer to buy. Before then it was sitting in a garage for quite sometime. I am a complete newb when it comes to bikes so I don't know how to ride right now but I am trying to register for some BRC (Basic Riders Course) classes offered by the state (Indiana) in August (classes are booked until then). Until then I hope to do some maintenance on the bike to get it in tip top shape.

The bike itself is in (for what I know) really good shape. When I first moved it from the garage I had a friend help me bring it over. It took a day to get it started but once it was running, it appeared to run pretty good. There's very little rust on the bike and there are no major dents or nicks anywhere. Sadly I don't have a garage so it remained under a tarp through the winter. Right now it's not starting. I bought a new battery but I think it could be something else. After reading up on bike maintenance a bit I noticed that there is rust in the tank and the spark plugs are bad. It doesn't help that I laid the bike down and bent the gear shifter lever and bent the handle bars a bit as well as a lil ding in the gas tank. I'm worried I could have hurt something more but I just don't know what.

Stefhan off the www.ratbike.org website was knocked off his BMW the other day while abroad. The bikes wrecked but he is ok. This picture has now appeared, we belive it could be from the accident.
